For many years, I have worked with stoneware and porcelain clay
which is wheel thrown, hand built and often a combination of both.
The work is fired at cone 10 reduction at the Westchester Art
Workshop in White Plains, NY.
I have enjoyed creating many different types of pieces including
whistles, rattles, jingle bells, and wind chimes as well as functional pots.
I love carving at the ‘leather hard’ stage and have been making small
wheel thrown pots that I carve completely through to create openwork.
These work well as tea light holders as the light from the candle shows
through the openings.
