photography, websites, search engines, social
networking, and e-commerce, leaving us with a
2010 Action Plan :
Beginner: Create an email account, (& check it daily)
create a facebook account (with photo), obtain a
digital camera (& learn how to use it, transfer photos
to computer, send as email attachments and upload
to Facebook)
Intermediate: create eBay and PayPal accounts,
create your own Website
Advanced: sell online, accept PayPal on your website

American Craft Council Show in Baltimore
February 25-28, 2010

Health/Disability Conference

Artists in Transition, an organization that works with
artists and performers facing physical and/or mental
health issues is having its inaugural conference on
Sunday, April 11, 2010 from 12 noon - 5:00 pm at
Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, CT.
We are co-sponsoring the conference, along with over
100 other local, state and national arts, health and
advocacy organizations.

Inspiring architect/sculptorTom Luckey will keynote and
awesome entertainment will be provided by Our Time
Theatre. There will be outstanding networking
opportunities and 15 information-packed breakout
sessions on diverse subjects such as healthcare,
maximizing employment potential, grant writing, etc., plus
speakers will include artists and performers who
themselves are dealing with health and disability issues
and making their art and lives a creative force!

Call for Entries- Dye Works Bazaar at 2010
GAGA Arts Festival

In light of economic conditions, we’ve lowered the
price for this year’s Dye Works Bazaar!

We are seeking 20 artisan vendors for a juried
indoor AFFORDABLE art and craft bazaar to be
held during the GAGA Arts Festival May 1-2, 2010.
Categories of work may include handcrafted
textiles, metal, wood, ceramics, jewelry and fine art.
Send 3 images of work (CDs, color copies, or email
only), SASE and a non-refundable jury fee of $25
payable to GAGA Arts Center; $125 if selected, in
lieu of gallery commission. Submission deadline:
March 26. Notification by: April 5.
